The Irish Schools Sustainability Network

The Irish Schools Sustainability Network was founded to provide a forum for teachers and students to work in partnership to accelerate climate action, address the loss of nature, and prioritise sustainability in the Irish Education System.  We are grassroots organisations connecting individual climate and nature champions who may be working in isolation within their schools.  We work on joint initiatives and campaigns highlighting the power of partnerships and networking.  During COP26 we founded & coordinated the Climate & Nature Summit, which had over 2500 participating schools.  In order for rapid transformational change to occur we need to step out of our silos and work together.
