An Choill Bheag

Thomond Community College has been involved in the Green Schools program for many years. As part of this, in 2019, in association with LEAF(Learning about Forests) and An Choill Bheag, the school planted 100 Native Irish trees in waste ground at the back of the school.  As we maintain them we have seen this area grow and develop its biodiversity.

Choill Bheag is the Irish for ‘Little Forest’.
