BICIART

We present an educational project developed over the last 12 years in a secondary school: IES Massanassa in Valencia. It is an interdisciplinary sustainable project where artistic, technical, road, environmental and emotional education are present on a bicycle. The idea is simple: to generate emotional bonds and above all to transmit the joy of living and the love of life. The project was a professional challenge due to the fact that it connected cycling to the subject of design. And it focuses on four themes: sustainability, safety, health and smiles.We can learn all this cycling on a bicycle.

We have also presented the following projects:

• Proposal for safe school accesses and sustainable mobility for the municipality of Massanassa.
• Project to launch a satellite together with ESA to study the impact of climate change on l’Albufera.
• Project to install 130 kw of photovoltaic panels on the Institute’s roof to make us more sustainable in terms of energy.
• MeteoMassanassa project – Interdisciplinary project on water and the Sènia.
